NEW ALBANY, Miss. (WTVA) — Jury selection will resume Tuesday at the Union County Courthouse in the sentencing of David Cox.

The man from Pontotoc County pleaded guilty last month to the 2010 capital murder of his estranged wife, Kim Cox, in Sherman.

Law enforcement accused him of holding his wife, son and stepdaughter hostage.

Once selected, the jury will decide if David Cox should die for his crime or serve life in prison.
