NEW ALBANY, Miss. (WTVA) -- Union County authorities made five felony arrests during a drug sweep in the county late last week.
Sheriff Jimmy Edwards says agents and deputies searched homes in the western part of the county and seized over a half-a-pound of marijuana and methamphetamine.
The list of arrests include:
Jeff Turner, 42, of County Road 56 - Possession of Meth (ICE) with intent to distribute
Mindy Greif, 29, of County Road 56 - Possession of Meth
Cortez Pearson, 21, Ingomar - Possession of Marijuana with intent to distribute
Chris Carr, 35, County Road 121 - Conspiracy to Commit a Crime
Bobby Bowling, Jr., 22, Ingomar - Conspiracy to Commit a Crime.
Turner had a hold placed on him by the Mississippi Department of Corrections, and also has warrants with Holly Springs police.
Bond for Greif, Pearson, Carr, and Bowling was set at $25,000.
