OXFORD, Miss. (WTVA) _ A woman who pleaded guilty to taking money from the U. S. Postal Service will repay the money and serve probation.

The sentence was handed down last week in U. S. Federal Court against Anna C. Terry, 39, of Tishomingo.

Terry faced a four-count indictment for taking nearly $1400 and also removing items from the mail while she worked at the Tishomingo Post Office.

She pleaded guilty to one count of theft in March.

A judge ordered her to pay back the money, serve two years probation, and pay a fine.
