TISHOMINGO COUNTY, Miss. (WTVA)--Some people in Tupelo were left without internet service for six hours on Monday.

Comcast cable says the source of the problem was a dump truck hitting a line somewhere south of Iuka on Highway 25.

The company says its entire local service area was affected by the outage.

The internet service was restored sometime around two p-m.
