IUKA, Miss. (WTVA) --Three people have been arrested following an investigation into the sale of prescription medication in Tishoming County.
Sheriff Glenn Whitlock tells WTVA.com Carol Johnson, 52, and Dana Johnson, 32, both of Iuka, were taken into custody Friday and charged with conspiracy to distribute Dilaudid.
The drug is a highly addictive pain medication only prescribed to patients in moderate to severe chronic pain.
Whitlock says more charges are pending against the women.
Authorities also arrested Robert Willock, 41, of Golden for sale of Hydrocodone.
The sheriff says the arrest were the result of undercover operations in Tishomingo County.
