Man charged with making terror threats

RED BAY, Ala. (WTVA) -- A Tishomingo County man has been indicted on charges he threatened to blow up a hospital and a police department employee.

Red Bay Police Chief Jana Jackson tells WTVA.com Larry Dean Miller, 49, of Golden was indicted by a Franklin County Grand Jury on two felony counts of making a terrorist threat.

Jackson says the incident happened on March 9, 2012.

She says Miller threatened to blow up the Red Bay Hospital and threatened a Red Bay Police Department dispatcher

Miller is currently being held in the Franklin County jail.
