TIPPAH COUNTY, Miss. (WTVA) -- Two people from Ripley are dead after the car they were in crashed near the city.
The accident happened on Highway 2 around 2:30 p.m. Monday
The Mississippi Highway Patrol said 47-year-old Rhonda Frenn was driving a car when it struck a tree off the highway.
Also killed in the crash was 34-year-old Kayce Brazil, who was riding in the car with Frenn.
Trooper Ray Hall said the two were not wearing seat belts.
