JACKSON, Miss. (WTVA) -- The Mississippi Supreme Court has yet to set an execution dates in two north Mississippi murder cases.
On February 24, Attorney General Jim Hood requested a March 26 execution date for for Charles Ray Crawford and a March 27 execution date for Michelle Byrom.
Crawford, 43, was sentenced to death for the 1994 murder and rape of Northeast Community College student Kristy Ray.
Byrom, 56, was convicted of capital murder for slaying her husband in 1999 in Tishomingo County.
A spokesperson for The Mississippi Supreme Court says justices have not yet set a date for the executions..
