RIPLEY, Miss. (WTVA) -- A federal judge has dismissed a civil suit over the repeated tasing of a man in the Tippah County jail.

Jimmy Dale Hunsucker sued the county and former deputies William and Jeffrey Rogers over the incident in June of 2007.

Hunsucker claims the father and son tased him repeatedly while he was in an isolation room following an arrest.

The Rogers pleaded guilty to misdemeanor charges of depriving a prisoner of his civil rights in U. S. Federal Court after the FBI investigated the incident.

Details of the settlement are not included in the federal court documents.
