JACKSON, Miss. (WTVA) -- The Mississippi Court of Appeals will not rehear the case of A Blue Mountain man serving time for sexual battery and touching a child for lustful purposes.
Jeffrey Kleckner, 50 is serving three life sentences plus 15 years.
He was indicted on three counts of sexual battery and one count of touching a child for lustful purposes.
Authorities say the victim was under the age of 14.
Kleckner's attorney's filed 21 claims in the appeal, including the sentence violated his Eighth Amendment rights.
The Mississippi Court of Appeals had denied his claims in May.
