ALUMA-FORM breaks ground on new facility

WALNUT, Miss. (WTVA) -- A manufacturer of overhead power distribution products will soon bring 125 jobs to Tippah County.

Officials with ALUMA-FORM joined with state and local leaders to break ground on a new manufacturing facility in the Walnut Industrial Park.

The company will invest $6.7 million into the project.

The Memphis-based company plans to manufacture and distribute products for use in the U. S. and overseas.

ALUMA-FORM officials thanked Tippah County, Walnut, the State of Mississippi, the Appalachian Regional Commission and TVA for their support on the project.
