NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVA/TSAC Athletics) – Anna Brooke Page of Blue Mountain College and Latraius Mosley of Life University are the TranSouth Athletic Conference Women’s and Men's Basketball Players of the week respectively, for the week ending Sunday, January 20, 2013.
Page, a 6'0" junior forward from Tishomingo, Miss., led the Toppers to a (3-0) week by averaging 24.7 points and 8.3 rebounds per game. Her hot shooting included hitting 71% (29-41) from the field and 100% (16-16) from the foul line.
Two of the wins came on the road, including her best outing which was a 29-point and 12-rebound effort in a 89-61 win over Mid-Continent. In a win at Judson she hit 9-of-10 from the field and hit all seven free throw attempts.
This is the second week this season that Page has earned the conference's weekly honor. She previously earned the honor for the week ending November 4, 2012.
The Toppers are now (11-6) on the season.
