JACKSON, Miss. (WTVA) - Three area schools claimed state titles in high school bowling on Friday in the Jackson area.
Tupelo's girls won the Class II title, which is the program's third. The Golden Wave boys were denied a seventh consecutive state title, finishing fourth.
In Class I, East Webster's boys and Itawamba AHS' girls won state titles. The Lady Indians repeated as MHSAA champions. East Union's girls and boys both finished second in Class I.
