BOONEVILLE, Miss. (WTVA) -- A Booneville woman will serve probation for passing counterfeit currency at a Corinth grocery store.

Jennifer Strange, 33, was ordered to serve five years probation during a hearing in U. S. District Court in Aberdeen.

A federal indictment says Strange used a counterfeit bill at Roger's Supermarket in Corinth on March 11.

She pleaded guilty to the charge in December.
