BOONEVILLE, Miss. (WTVA) -- The Prentiss County Sheriff's Department has one person in custody in connection with a church burglary.

On Tuesday, November 20, deputies arrested Sharon Jean Sallie, 45, of Booneville and charged her with burglary of a church.

Investigators say Sallie went inside the Jumpertown Methodist Church and took a wallet out of a church member's purse.

In addition to the burglary charge, Sallie is also facing credit card fraud charges in Ripley.

Sallie is being held on a $5,000 bond and is currently being held for MDOC.
