WHEELER, Miss. (WTVA) -- The Prentiss County Sheriff's Department is investigating damage to some school buses and to the inside of Wheeler School.
Principal Todd Swinney says drivers found the windshields broken on five buses when they reported to run their routes Wednesday morning.
He says the mirrors had also been knocked off the buses.
Sweeney says a copy machine inside the school was damaged, but nothing major was missing.
He says spare buses from across the district were used to run the routes and there was no disruption to the school day.
