BOONEVILLE, Miss. (WTVA) -- The trial of a woman charged in the shooting death of her mother came to an abrupt end when a medical problem forced the judge to declare a mistrial back in October.

Rebecca Lynn Jones, 48, of Lexington, Alabama was on trial in Prentiss County Circuit Court in the shooting death of Jane Jones, 66, at a home on Highway 4 near Booneville in May of 2010.

Wednesday, November 27, Jones was released from the hospital in Birmingham.

She went before a judge in Prentiss County Thursday morning, and is now being held behind bars until her new murder trial begins in February 2013.
