BOONEVILLE, Miss. (WTVA) — The Mississippi Highway Patrol has released the names of those involved in a one-vehicle fatal accident in Prentiss County.
61-year-old Dock Davis, Jr. of Grand Junction, Tennessee, was driving the 1991 Chevrolet Suburban that crashed into an embankment at Highway 45 and Highway 145 Wednesday night. He died at the scene.
There were three passengers in the vehicle: 29-year-old Travis Stanley of Booneville, 26-year-old Timothy Morrow of Moscow, Tennessee, and 30-year-old Jacklyn Morrow of Moscow, Tennessee.
Trooper Ray Hall says their sport utility vehicle was heading north on Highway 145 when it crossed Highway 45 and landed in the embankment.
According to Hall, Stanley was the only person in the SUV wearing a seat belt. He suffered moderate injuries and was taken to North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo.
Timothy Morrow was flown to the hospital in Tupelo while Jacklyn Morrow was flown to The Med in Memphis. Both suffered serious injuries.
