Traffic stop leads to arrests on drug charges

BOONEVILLE, Miss. (WTVA) -- Two women face drug related charges after they were stopped at a roadside safety checkpoint in Prentiss County.

Sheriff Randy Tolar says Jessica Lane Estes, 33, and Tracy Michelle Adams, 40, both of Booneville, were arrested Monday night on County Road 4141.

Estes is charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Adams was charged with possesion of drug paraphernalia, but is currently being held in the Prentiss County jail on a probation violation for the Mississippi Department of Corrections.
