BOONEVILLE, Miss. (WTVA) - Police are search for a suspect wanted in an armed robbery that happened last Friday morning.
Authorities say the person robbed the Express Shop on Second Street in Booneville.

The suspect was wearing a white long sleeve T-shirt, with a dark short-sleeved shirt over it.
They had rubber gloves on and the suspect was wearing a baseball hat.
According to a police report, the suspect forced their way on the cashier, demanded money from the register, took more than 200-dollars from the register, and then ran back out the door.
The cashier said the suspect reportedly had a weapon in his hand, possibly an ice pick or a knife.
