BOONEVILLE, Miss. (WTVA) -- Two men face charges after Prentiss County deputies say they found a mobile meth lab during a traffic stop Saturday.

Sheriff Randy Tolar says deputies were conducting a roadside safety checkpoint at the intersection of County Road 7301 and County Road 7081 in the Blackland community.

During a stop, the meth lab was discovered and two people in the car were taken into custody.

Christopher Don Wright, 45, and Micheal Paul Lews, 37, both of Booneville, are charged with possession of precursors with the intent to manufacture methamphetamine.
