OXFORD, Miss. (WTVA) -- An Alabama man is heading to federal prison after pleading guilty to the hold-up of four banks in North Mississippi last year.
Brian Perry Jones, 35, of Toney received a sentence of four years in prison and three years probation.
Jones pleaded guilty in April to the 2012 robberies of the Renasant Bank branches in Iuka on August 16 and on Veterans Boulevard in Tupelo on September 21.
Prosecutors agreed to dismiss the charges in the robbery of the Renasant branches on West Market Street in Booneville on November 16 and the North Gloster Street in Tupelo on November 19.
Under the plea agreement, Jones will make restitution to the bank.
He has been in federal custody since April.
