OXFORD, Miss. (WTVA) -- A New Site man will remain in jail pending the outcome of a federal grand jury.

Robert Scott Goodin, 19, is accused of making threats over a social media website about the George E. Allen Library in Booneville.

The criminal complaint says Goodin told a library worker about "thoughts of killing people in the library" while he was there.

Court papers say he told federal investigators a demon inside him was encouraging him to commit the act.

The federal agent says Goodin said he wouldn't use a gun, but a sword and knives in the attack.

Goodin was ordered held following a detention hearing Tuesday in Oxford.
