BOONEVILLE, Miss. (WTVA) -- On Monday, December 3, authorities in Prentiss County Authorities arrested Jason
Lee Smith, 34, of Booneville and charged him with food stamp fraud.
The charge stemmed from him fraudulently selling a food stamp EBT card.
The arrest concluded a month long investigation into the illegal selling of EBT cards.
Smith was released the following day on a $5,000 bond.
The case will be presented to the next Prentiss County Grand Jury.
