Man arrested after turning himself in on another charge.

PRENTISS COUNTY, Miss. (WTVA) - A Baldwyn man has been charged after allegedly trying to smuggle a drug into the Prentiss County Jail.
n a news release on Monday, the Prentiss County Sheriff's Department says Artravis Cortez Richey, 29, of 620 MLK in Baldwyn turned himself in to the Prentiss County Jail to serve 48 hours on an unrelated charge.
When he was admitted, officers say they discovered that Richey had a controlled substance secretly on him.
Authorities say Richey has been charged with two counts of Introduction Of Contraband Into A Jail.
His bond has been set at $7,500.
Officials say there is also a hold on him for the Mississippi Department of Corrections.
