PRENTISS COUNTY, Miss. (WTVA) — The Mississippi Highway Patrol teamed up with local law enforcement and the FBI to saturate Prentiss County Thursday night.
Officers set up checkpoints to ensure people are wearing seat belts and driving safely.
They also served federal arrest warrants throughout the county.
"We felt like if we come together, we're stronger in numbers, and then we can accomplish our jobs to make our streets, highways and our county safer," said MHP Trooper Ray Hall.
The number of arrests made during the joint effort is expected to be released Friday.
