OXFORD, Miss. (WTVA) -- A federal judge has set an August trial date for a man accused of making threats over social media.

Robert Scott Goodin, 19, was indicted by a grand jury on charges he made threats about the George E. Allen Library in Booneville.

The criminal complaint says Goodin told a library worker about "thoughts of killing people in the library" while he was there.

Court papers say he told federal investigators a demon inside him was encouraging him to commit the act.

The federal agent says Goodin said he wouldn't use a gun, but a sword and knives in the attack.

The trial is scheduled to take place August 12 in U. S. District Court in Aberdeen.
