BOONEVILLE, Miss. (WTVA) -- An investigation is underway into a deadly fire in Prentiss County over the weekend.
Sheriff Randy Tolar says a body was found inside a burned out camper trailer on County Road 5030 around 3:20 Sunday afternoon.
Tolar says power crews told authorities there was no meter providing electricity to the home.
He says they believe they know who the person was inside the home, but Tolar says the body has been sent to Jackson for a positive identification.
The state fire marshal and Prentiss County fire investigator are looking into the cause of the fire.
