BOONEVILLE, Miss. (WTVA) -- A Prentiss County man has been arrested following an investigation into the sale of methamphetamine in the county.

Sheriff Randy Tolar says Randy Jeffrey Crabb, 37, of County Road 2220 in the New Hope Community was arrested Tuesday.

He is charged with possession of a methamphetamine with the intent to distribute.

Tolar says agents seized one-and-a-half ounces of crystal methamphetamine, cash, multiple firearms, a 1998 Jeep Cherokee and drug paraphernalia.

He says the charges against Crabb will be enhanced because of the firearms.

Crabb was also on probation from the Mississippi Department of Corrections at the time of his arrest.
