BOONEVILLE, Miss. (WTVA) -- A man sought by Prentiss County and Belmont authorities was arrested in Georgia on Wednesday.
The Prentiss County Sheriff's Department says they began looking for Anthony Perry, 24, Friday after he fled from deputies in an attempted traffic stop.
Authorities say Perry lost control of his vehicle and fled into the woods.
Afterward, several residents in the area of the incident began reporting burglaries.
The next day, deputies say Perry stole a black 1991 Chevrolet S10 truck from a Prentiss County residence and drove it into Tennessee.
Authorities say he was tracked in the Tennessee cities of Savannah and Nashville.
He was later apprehended in Valdosta, Georgia, Wednesday morning where he is being held on minor charges and awaiting extradition to Mississippi.
In Mississippi, Perry faces multiple counts of burglary of a dwelling and a charge of grand larceny in Prentiss County and charges of possession of stolen property in Belmont.
Law enforcement say the Prentiss County charges stem from an attempt to arrest Perry on the Belmont charges.
Authorities say Perry could face charges in other states.
The truck has not been recovered at this time.
