BALDWYN, Miss. (WTVA) -- The city of Baldwyn is getting ready for its 34th Annual Okeelala Festival.

The festival will go from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at Latimer Park in Baldwyn.

There will be several musical performances throughout the day.

The event will have a lot of fun activities for kids like pony rides and a petting zoo.

The Okeelala Festival Car Show judging will begin at noon.

This year's festival has a new addition: a motorcycle show.

Organizers want everyone to come out and take part in Saturday's festivities.

"They get to fellowship with friends and family," Baldwyn Main Street Director Lori Tucker said. "You enjoy watching the kids have fun. It's just great food, great southern hospitality. Wonderful group of people."

Tucker also says there will be a haunted house event for kids downtown at 8 p.m. Saturday night after the festival.
