OXFORD, Miss. (WTVA) -- An Alabama man has pleaded guilty to the robberies of two north Mississippi banks in 2012.
Brian Perry Jones, 35, of Toney entered the guilty pleas Tuesday afternoon in U. S. District Court in Oxford.
Jones pleaded guilty to the robberies of the Renasant Bank branches in Iuka on August 16 and on Veterans Boulevard in Tupelo on September 21.
Prosecutors agreed to dismiss the charges in the robbery of the Renasant branches on West Market Street in Booneville on November 16 and the North Gloster Street in Tupelo on November 19.
Under the plea agreement, Jones will make restitution to the bank.
He faces a maximum of 20 years in prison, three years probation, and a $250,000 fine on each count.
Jones is being held without bond by U. S. Marshals until he is sentenced.
