BOONEVILLE, Miss. (WTVA) -- A Booneville man was charged for possession of methamphetamine Tuesday.
During a roadside safety checkpoint, deputies arrested Jason Ruey Prentiss, 33, and three other people in the vehicle with him.
Prentiss is being held on a $27,500 bond for possession of a controlled substance and other misdemeanor charges.
Sheriff Randy Tolar says one person in the vehicle is also being held on a hold by the Mississippi Department of Corrections.
Two others were released on bond for misdemeanor charges.
