BOONEVILLE, Miss. (WTVA) — Don't have a green thumb? No worries! A group of Booneville High School students have done the hard work for you.
They have been raising plants since the fall including two varieties of ferns.
Here's the best part: they're for sale!
Two weeks ago, students opened the doors of their greenhouse to the public.
They have everything from geraniums to vegetable plants to bedding plants.
"It teaches them a lot of experiential learning processes that they won't get in a traditional classroom setting," said Agriscience Instructor Jared Beasley.
Proceeds from the plant sale will go toward the Future Farmers of America local chapter trips.
