SHERMAN, Miss. (WTVA) -- Seven people have been taken to the North Mississippi Medical Center following a traffic accident on Highway 78 in Sherman Thursday morning.
Officials at the scene tell WTVA's Allie Ware a dump truck overturned on the entrance ramp to Highway 78 at the Sherman exit.
They say a second accident occured on the highway when people were apparently looking at the overturned truck.
The severity of the injuries is not known.
Emergency crews from Lee County, Pontotoc County, and Union County responded to the accident scene.
