OXFORD, Miss. (WTVA) -- A Saltillo man faces a 14-count federal indictment for failing to pay payroll taxes and filing false tax returns.

William Dewey Harrison, 56, is accused of filing false income tax returns between 2006 and 2009 and underpaid nearly $150,000 in income tax.

He is also accused of failing to turn over over $1.4 million in payroll taxes collected from employees of Miss Eaton Furniture in Pontotoc from 2006 to 2008.

The federal indictment says Harrison was the chief financial officer of the company.

Court documents accuse him of using the money for his personal benefit.

The indictment was handed down in February, but the information wasn't made public until this week when Harrison's arrest warrant was executed with the court.

He will be arraigned in a Greenville federal courtroom on Thursday.
