PONTOTOC, Miss. (WTVA) - The second annual "Hooked on Pontotoc" gave families a chance to let their kids fish for free at the lake at Howard Stafford Park.

Junior anglers were fishing for bass, bluegill, bream, catfish and crappie.

The fish were fair game for the little ones as they get to fish for free and hopefully catch the big one before it swims away.

"I have a good time reeling them in," adds Katie Stuto, Pontotoc resident. "Also helping my little sister when she gets tangled up. It's just a good time just to be out here in the outdoors and in the sunshine and all."

The free fishing for the kids wrapped up at 3 p.m. Saturday, just in time for them to take home the catch of the day and cook some supper.
