BELDEN, Miss -(WTVA)- State Route Highway 9 officially opens.
Mississippi Governor Phil Bryant is among a host of officials on hand for a ribbon cutting ceremony.
Highway 9 is an approximately 9.5 mile stretch of road.
The project was started in July, 2011. It was set to complete in December but was finished well ahead of schedule.
