TUPELO, Miss. (WTVA) — Four people are under arrest, accused of forcing their way into a home and physically attacking the man and woman who were there.
The four are identified as 31-year-old Jessica Pitts, 30-year-old Charles West, 26-year-old Kayla Herdahl and 21-year-old Whitney Fears.
Pitts, Herdahl and Fears are from Pontotoc. West is from Nettleton.
Police said the crime happened last Wednesday in the central part of the city.
Detective Tremaine Frison said the crime stemmed from a dispute a week or two ago, but he wouldn't go into specifics.
He added the two inside the home were treated at the hospital for minor injuries.
Pitts, West, Herdahl and Fears are charged with burglary of a dwelling and made their initial court appearance Tuesday.
Lee County Justice Court Judge Sadie Holland set bond for the four at $10,000 each.
