STARKVILLE, Miss. (WTVA) — The Oktibbeha County Sheriff's Department has formally released the names of the three people killed in Wednesday's house fire near Mississippi State University.
They are identified as 92-year-old Celia Craig Robson, 48-year-old Geraldine Bradford Rice and 23-year-old Samuel Razi Morris.
Robson and Morris lived at the home on 36 Bardwell Road. Rice lived in Starkville and is described by one fire official as a caretaker for Robson, who was bedridden.
According to a news release from the sheriff's department, it appears Rice and Morris got Celia Robson's husband, George Robson, out of the burning home before going back in for her.
There's no word on what caused the fire.
