TUPELO, Miss. (WTVA) -- The Starkville School District has put together a list of capital improvement projects the district needs to make to buildings and districts across the district.
The district was awarded a $1.9 million zero-interest loan from the Mississippi Department of Education.
After receiving input for residents in a recent planning session, the board says news roofs at Overstreet School, the Millsaps Career and Technical Center, and for the gymnasium at Armstrong Middle School are on the top of the list.
A new air-conditioning system at Henderson Gymnasium and putting a turf field at the Starkville High School football stadium also top the lists.
