ABERDEEN, Miss. (WTVA) -- A Starkville man will spend time in a federal prison after pleading guilty in a child pornography investigation.
Jeffrey Lee Jones, 38, was sentenced Tuesday during a hearing in U. S. District Court in Aberdeen.
He pleaded guilty last September to a one count indictment after authorities say they found child pornography on a computer and digital storage devices at his home.
Federal authorities were able to identify five of the victims through a search of a database with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
Jones was sentenced to 58 months in prison, five years supervised probation, and must pay the five victims $2,000 in restitution.
The judge ordered him to report to federal prison to begin serving his sentence on June 24.
