STARKVILLE, Miss. (WTVA) -- A man wanted in connection with the robberies of three pizza delivery drivers in Starkville has been arrested.

Starkville police says Carlos Shepherd, 28, was arrested Tuesday night in his hometown of Aberdeen with the help of the U. S. Marshals Office and Aberdeen Police.

Shepherd was wanted by Starkville authorities for calling in pizza orders, then with the help of another man, robbing them when the drivers made the delivery.

Authorities have dubbed the pair "The Meat-Lovers Muggers."

Shepherd is currently in the Oktibbeha County Jail charged with three counts of aggravated assault.

The second man wanted in connection with the robberies has not been arrested.

Anyone with information on the cases is asked to contact the Starkville Police Department or Golden Triangle Crimestoppers.
