MSU police chief charged with DUI

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WTVA) — Starkville police say they arrested Mississippi State University Police Chief Georgia Lindley and charged her with driving under the influence.

Police Captain John C. Thomas says Lindley was arrested around 5 p.m. Thursday and is out on bond.

The university has placed her on paid administrative leave.

For now, MSU Assistant Police Chief Kenneth Spencer will oversee the campus police department on an interim basis.
