STARKVILLE, Miss. (WTVA) -- A Mississippi State University library will expand, according to university officials.
In April, Governor Phil Bryant signed a $7 million bond package to fund the expansion of Mississippi State's Mitchell Memorial Library.
During the expansion, another floor will be added at the northeast corner of the library, along with more spaces, study rooms, research areas, administrative offices and a black-box theater, according to Dean of Libraries Frances Coleman.
University officials say Jackson-based Foil Wyatt Architects and Planners PLLC will oversee the design of the additions.
