STARKVILLE, Miss. (WTVA) -- The Starkville Police Department would like your help in a larceny case that occurred at the Fastbreak on Highway 182 in Starkville on November 20.

According to authorities, two black men entered the store making a small purchase and paying with a $100 bill.

One suspect begins to distract the store clerk.

The other suspect confuses the store clerk by asking to see the $100 bill he had just given her in the prior purchase.

He then proceeds to ask her to break other $100 bills while covering the money with his hand and shuffling the money back and forth.

He continues with the deception until the clerk is swindled out of $920.00.

A silver or white Chevrolet Impala is caught on video backing out of a parking space and drove to the west side of the building which is the direction the suspects took as they departed the building.

One suspect is described as a black man wearing a tan zip-up hoodie, blue jeans, black and white cap, iPod head phones with facial hair and a grill in the mouth.

The second suspect is described as a black man wearing a gray t-shirt, black pants, white & black shoes and a blue & red hat.

If you have any information in this case please contact the Starkville Police Department at (662)323-4131 or Golden Triangle Crime Stoppers at 1-800-530-7151.
