MACON, Miss. (WTVA) -- Macon police have filed manslaughter charges against a man they say stabbed another one with a fork during an argument Friday.
Officers charged James E. Gullery, 44, of Macon with the death of Eddie Lamount Harmon, 33, of Macon.
Authorities says officers were called to the Boone Street Apartment complex around 3 a.m. Friday morning.
They say officers found Harmon had been stabbed and was carried to Noxubee General Hospital.
He was later transported to the Anderson Regional Hospital in Meridian where he did Wednesday.
Investigators say Harmon and his girlfriend were apparently involved in a domestic dispute when the stabbing happened.
The woman is Gullery's step-daughter.
Gullery is currently being held in the Noxubee County jail.
