MACON, Miss. (WTVA/Macon Beacon) -- The Noxubee County’s Sheriff’s Department is investigating the theft of a trailer full of tools from the construction site of a new cotton gin.
The Macon Beacon reports the trailer was taken sometime Monday night or Tuesday morning from the Bogue Chitto Cotton Gin on Deerbrook Road.
The trailer is described as a white, tandem-axle enclosed trailer with "M & M" painted on the back.
Construction workers discovered the trailer missing when they reported to work Tuesday morning.
The company says the trailer contained more than $30,000 in tools and equipment.
Anyone with information about the missing trailer is urged to contact the Noxubee County Sheriff’s Department.
