Reward offered for arrest in kitten torture

WINONA, Miss. (WTVA) -- A reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction in connection with the torture of a kitten in Winona.

Officials with In Defense of Animals say the kitten was found on October 29 on Hardy Street in Winona.

They say the three-to-four month old kitten had burn injuries and her back legs were paralyzed from a injuries consistent with being beaten.

The injuries were so severe, the animal had to be humanely euthanized.
