AMORY, Miss. (WTVA) -- An Amory woman is accused of cutting another person two times with a box cutter during an altercation late last week.
Police Chief Ronnie Bowen says Tabitha Dixon, 29, is charged with aggravated assault.
Authorities say the altercation took place on Thursday night, but wasn't reported until Friday.
Investigators say the victim had been cut on the leg and shoulder with a box cutter.
They say medical personnel used 29 stitches to close both wounds.
